Formulation of research and policy of the air pollution branch of KNMI;
design, development and application of mathematical air pollution dispersion and
deposition models; fundamental research in the field of
hydrodynamics, atmospheric turbulence and diffusion.(KNMI and DAMTP)
Formulation and coordination of international programmes on global monitoring
of atmospheric constituents (WMO). Global atmospheric transport and
chemistry research (IMAU)
